Give yourself the gift of deep relaxation and healing. Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep, is a meditative practice through the subtle layers of your physical and energetic bodies. As you lay in Savasana, Brittany will lead you through a guided journey inviting you to move out of the Beta brain wavelengths of "doing" and into the deeper Alpha and Theta brain wavelengths of "being," helping you to access your subconscious mind to release limiting beliefs and live a life more aligned with your intentions. A Yoga Nidra practice helps to reduce the stress and tensions we carry with us in our everyday lives. It is said that one hour of Yoga Nidra is equal to four hours of deep sleep.
This class welcomes all levels - no meditation or yoga experience necessary. We will begin with gentle movement and then make our way down for a restful Yoga Nidra practice. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat for the practice. We have bolsters and blankets - and if you'd like to bring an eye mask, socks, sweater or anything else that helps you to get cozy during the Nidra practice, please feel free.
