In this 2 hour workshop, Sarah and Amanda will be guiding you through longer yin holds designed to relax and prepare the body for a rejuvenating and blissful acupuncture treatment. During the first hour of the class we will explore the calming nature of holding yin poses for several minutes at a time, while Sarah and Amanda offer hands on adjustments and Thai massage techniques to create more openness and space within the body. The second hour of class settles you into a supported and peaceful savasana where you will receive a Traditional Chinese medical treatment of acupuncture designed to create balance within the mind, body, and spirit.

About Sarah & Amanda:
Sarah’s love for yoga started about 5 years ago and led her to pursue her 200 hour RYT last year through Harmony Yoga. In 2016 she (along with Amanda) traveled to Thailand to do Thai massage training, and has been incorporating that into her yoga classes as well. Sarah graduated in 2018 with her Master’s degree in Eastern medicine and Acupuncture, became a licensed acupuncturist, and currently practices in Redondo Beach and El Segundo.
Amanda Lee Murphy (400 RYT) has been teaching yoga as well as Thai Massage in the South Bay since 2011. She graduated from Emperor’s College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in June of 2018, became licensed in the Fall of 2018 and started her Acupuncture Practice in Manhattan Beach last year.
