Teacher Training – Is it right for me?
Are you passionate about yoga? Do you want to understand the process of yoga, outstanding benefits, history, and philosophy?
One of the most impactful ways of accomplishing all of these goals as well as aligning your mind, body, and spirit is through the intensive and connective experience of teacher training.
Why should you consider taking teacher training?
Teacher training arms you with the tools to incorporate self-care and feel powerful and healthy in your body. Through the training, you will learn about the physical body in great detail as you immerse yourself in the alignment and benefits of postures. This allows for a complete understanding of how the poses affect your body and how to feel aligned and capable in them.
You will be able share this gift with the world after completing teacher training!
What will you gain from taking teacher training?
Through studying the ancient philosophical texts of yoga, you will learn how to manage the workings of the mind with focus, grit, practice, and meditation. You will gain an expansive understanding of yoga which will deepen your practice and assist you in applying yoga to all aspects of your life. This will allow you to move through life challenges and transitions with better flow and less stress.
Most often overlooked, but just as important, are the energetics that can’t be seen with the physical eyes. When your mind and body are aligned with your energy, emotions, character, and intuition, you step into your most authentic, highest version of yourself.
Teacher training allows you to work from the inside and create a self-empowered life, which assists you in opening your voice, accessing your heart, and deepening your compassion and love for yourself and your community. The life-long friendships you will forge during this connected and personal experience will put you in a beautiful community that fuels your spirit even further.
Harmony Yoga’s comprehensive 10-weekend program will help you develop the skills necessary to empower yourself mentally, physically and spiritually. This will be a total of 180 classroom hours. To enhance your experience, you will spend the remaining hours completing homework assignments, practice teaching with fellow trainees, and observing and assisting classes.
Upon completion of this training, you will be able to apply for your 200-hour certification as a registered yoga teacher (RYT200). The experience will provide you with the skills to share this gift and enhance and inspire the lives of countless individuals.
When is the right time to make this goal a reality?
If you’re being called to explore yourself and the harmonizing practice of yoga in a deeper way, then there is no better time than the present. Anyone at any time can join this teacher training. An investment in yourself is the most impactful investment you can make.
We look forward to guiding you in deepening your practice, learning to teach, and teaching to learn!
